The Over Players

Welcome to The Over Players, an amateur dramatics group based in the village of Over in Cambridgeshire - United Kingdom.

Following on from the very successful pantomime "Cinderella", the Players will be returning to a musical production for the Spring 2013 show.

This year the musical will be the very popular show, "Sound of Music", written by Rodgers and Hammerstein.  The show features many well known songs which include "Maria", "Do-Re-Mi", "Edelweiss" and "Climb Ev'ry Mountain".  A synopsis of the show can be found here.

The dates are Tuesday 28th May to Saturday 1st June 2013.  The evening shows start at 7:30pm, except for the Tuesday first night which starts at 6:45pm.  There will also be a matinee on Saturday 1st June starting at 2:30pm.

Tickets for 'Sound of Music' are available online or by telephone from the Box Office. Tickets are likely to sell fast, particularly for the matinee, so be sure to book early!  Full details are on the Box Office page.

Latest News

The Over Players have won an award from NODA for their 2012 pantomime, "Cinderella".  There are 14 districts covering the whole of East Anglia, and the Players received the best panto of 2012 award for their area, East District 4S.  Well done all those involved.
